Mission and History
The VCU School of Engineering Foundation was founded in
May 1995. The Foundation is organized exclusively for educational,
scientific and charitable purposes and to provide financial
and other support to the School of Engineering of Virginia
Commonwealth University. The VCU School of Engineering Foundation
is governed by a Board of Trustees of not less than 15 but
not more than 40 trustees. One of the trustees shall be
elected from nominations received from the Board of Visitors
of Virginia Commonwealth University. Ex-officio Trustees
with vote are the president of Virginia Commonwealth University
and the dean of the School of Engineering.
